Do you find it annoying when making a sauce and the spoon topples out of the pan splattering cheese sauce everywhere ?
Me too, until I started making these smaller cooking spoons. Perfect for a small saucepan it has a flattish end and sides for scraping the pan and a bowl deep enough to serve with.
I make these from some lovely locally sourced Cherry wood.
Being hand carved the size and grain pattern will vary from spoon to spoon but are on average around 20 cm long by 4.5cm in width ( 8 x 1.75 inches).
Finished in my own food safe Coconut Oil and Beeswax polish, simply hand wash after use and re-oil occasionally if it feels a bit dry.
