cherry eating spoon
An everyday eating spoon carved from a beautiful cherry branch brought down in our garden by storm arwen late last year.. The fig shaped spoon has a long history, going back to Medieval times and earlier. This is my version inspired by those older ones both wooden and Pewter.
Being hand carved the size and pattern will vary from spoon to spoon but are on average around 17cm long by 5.5cm in width (6.5 x 2.25 inches)
Finished in my own food safe vegan friendly polish, simply hand wash after use and re-oil occasionally with a food safe oil such as walnut if it feels a bit dry.
17 x 5.5 cm (approx)
